The Ambassador of Cuba, Mr. Pedro Luis Despaigne González received the visit of Mr. Johnson Kwadwo Asiedu Nketia, General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the country's main opposition party.
The meeting reaffirmed the historic ties that unite the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and the NDC, as a lively expression of the relations that both countries have had since the establishment of diplomatic relations; materialized to the highest degree by the thousands of young Ghanaians who have studied in Cuba and the hundreds of Cuban health professionals who have provided their cooperation in Ghanaian lands.
