Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka was received at Parliament

Colombo, August 11, 2025. The Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Andrés Marcelo González Garrido, was received at Parliament by the Honorable Leader of the House of Parliament and Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports, and Civil Aviation, Bimal Rathnayake, and the Honorable Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sunil Kumara Gamage, President of the Sri Lanka-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Association for the Tenth Legislature.
During the friendly meeting, the ambassador expressed his gratitude for the continued solidarity with Cuba and discussed issues of mutual interest to strengthen the relations of cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
