Oslo, September 3, 2023. Along with her colleagues from the Latin American Diplomatic Corps accredited in Norway, the Cuban ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, took part in a working meeting with Karina Batthyány, executive director of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO ).
At the meeting, in which Pablo Vommaro, director of Research was also present, an interesting exchange of ideas took place as a contribution to CLACSO's interest in increasing its presence and strengthening the Latin American and Caribbean perspective on the social sciences in Norway and the Nordic region.
Karina Batthyány and Pablo Vommaro are in Norway to participate in the conference “Winds of Change and Streams of Solidarity: Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe in the 21st Century”, which will take place on September 4 and 5, at the University of Bergen. (Embassy of Cuba)
