Wellington, March 5, 2019. – In the framework of a GRULAC (Latin America and Caribbean Group by its Spanish acronym) meeting with the minister for Small Businesses, Stuart Nash, the Ambassador of Cuba, Mario Alzugaray, had the opportunity to exchange on the main issues of the bilateral relation.
The Member of Parliament for the Labour Party expressed his interest in the current situation in Cuba and the incidence of small businesses in the tourism sector of the island.
The Cuban diplomat took advantage of the opportunity to highlight the importance that Cuba attaches to New Zealand's experiences in various sectors, including tourism, as a reference for the updating of Cuba´s economic model.
