The Cuban Ambassador Tania López Larroque arrives in Jamaica.

Kingston, 8 December 2025. On the date marking the 53rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Jamaica, Ambassador-designate Tania López Larroque arrived in the capital of the Caribbean nation. She was received at Norman Manley International Airport by officials from the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica and the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Diplomatic Mission, Rolando Dávila Gallardo.

During the brief exchange, both parties reiterated their willingness to continue strengthening ties and cooperation in key areas such as health, education, agriculture, climate resilience and disaster management.
