Cuban Ambassador thanks the farewell by the group of African Ambassadors and Honorary Consuls in Uganda

Kampala. On the evening of November 22, the Cuban Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques attended the farewell offered by the Group of Ambassadors and Honorary Consuls from Africa accredited in Kampala.

On the occasion when the much-loved High Commissioner of South Africa and until then Dean of this African diplomatic group was also said goodbye, the work of both diplomats was recognized, at the same time that the historic ties between Cuba, Fidel Castro and the African continent were highlighted.

The Cuban diplomat thanked the opportunity to represent the Caribbean island in Africa, the welcome of the Cuban Embassy in this group, as well as all the support received during her work by the authorities of Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda.

The function was chaired by Ambassador Charles Ssetongo, Director of Protocol of the Ugandan Foreign Ministry.
