Similarly, Cuban diplomatic officials sign the book of condolences at the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Istanbul for the assassination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Cuban Consul General Raúl Madrigal, as well as Consuls Amelia Sánchez and Lisván Aleaga, highlighted the Shiite leader's legacy as a bastion of strength and commitment to the dignity and sovereignty of his country.
