Cuban ambassador visited Sri Lankan company Jaindi Exports (Pvt) Ltd

Colombo, March 9, 2025. The Cuban ambassador to Sri Lanka Andrés Marcelo González Garrido visited the company Jaindi Exports (Pvt) Ltd, where he was received by Sampath Anuruddha, Founder and CEO and the management team, as well as toured the production areas of the factory.
Jaindi Exports (Pvt) Ltd is a renowned manufacturer and exporter of large-scale coconut-based food and beverages under the éconutrena brand. The company offers an expanding and diversified product portfolio ranging from coconut-based products to a range of organic spices, fruits, Ayurvedic products and beverages for the global market.
During the meeting, the company team presented to the Cuban diplomat a summary of the company's mission and vision, and the ambassador referred to Cuba's portfolio of business opportunities and offered information on coconut production, which is mainly developed in the eastern part of Cuba, especially in Baracoa, Guantanamo province.
Also participating in the visit were Tushira Radella, President of the Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs of Sri Lanka (COYLE) and Maribel Duarte González, First Secretary of the Cuban Embassy.
Jaindi Exports (Pvt) Ltd is located in Dankotuwa, a small town located in the Puttalam district, North Western province, Sri Lanka. It is located 12 km from Negombo, 47 km from Colombo and 62 km from Kurunegala.
