Cuban ambassador was present in Sri Lanka at an event to honor Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh

Colombo, May 17, 2024. The Cuban ambassador to Sri Lanka Andrés Marcelo González Garrido participated in the commemorative event for the 134th anniversary of the birth of the leader and first president of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam Ho Chí Minh, at the monument that bears his name in the city of Combo, capital of Sri Lanka.
The event was organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Colombo as a tribute to this great Vietnamese revolutionary, who has become a symbol of resistance against colonialism and the exploitation of Western powers.
