Cuban authorities recognize the work of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Türkiye.

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, sent a greeting to the Cuban medical brigade that is providing services to the victims of the earthquakes that hit southern Turkey on February 6. From his Twitter account, Díaz-Canel wrote: "A big hug for our dear doctors. We are very proud of you, and from here we remain aware of everything you are doing in sister Türkiye. Cuba admires and loves you". Similarly, on the same social network.

Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez highlighted the presence of Cuban doctors in that country as a sign of solidarity in the face of the tragedy that has affected thousands of families.  For his part, Prime Minister Marrero Cruz, via Twitter, sent a hug to the 32 Cuban health professionals who a few days after the disasters arrived on Turkish soil to help the victims recover.
