Cuban business delegation developed a work programme in Jamaica.

Kingston, 12 May 2023. A business delegation led by the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba developed a work programme in Jamaican territory between 8 and 12 May. The delegation was composed of companies related to the construction, biotechnology and iron and steel industries.

During their visit they held meetings with executives from the Ministry of Health and Welness, the Ministry of Industries, Investment and Commerce, the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce, the Jamaica Promotional Society (JAMPRO), the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA), as well as with a wide range of companies interested in doing or promoting business with Cuba. The exchanges allowed for the identification of potentialities to strengthen economic and trade relations between the two Caribbean nations.
