The 6th International Meeting of Illustrators began this July 7 at the Al Amir Taz Palace in Cairo, with the exhibition of works from different latitudes such as Ukraine, Kuwait, Brazil, Russia, Alemnaia, Spain, Indonesia, China, Egypt and Cuba, among so many other countries.
The Cuban caricature is specially represented in the event by the great artist Arístides Guerrero, known as ARES, who will offer a symposium and creative workshop on Tuesday, July 9 at the Goethe Institute in Cairo.
On the other hand, on July 9 will be inaugurated the exhibition "Cartoons of Cuba" that will be open until July 20, 2019 at the Goethe Institute.
During the 6th International Encounter of Cartoonists, some of the most important works by "Ares" will be seen in Cairo, as well as other works by Cuban cartoonists Yoenmis Batista del Toro, Brady Izquierdo and Roberto Castillo.
