Cuban Chargé d'affaires is received in the Zimbabwean Foreign Ministry

Harare, January 10, 2024. The Cuban Charge d'affaires in Zimbabwe, Ambassador Yenielys Regueiferos Linares, was received at the Zimbabwean Foreign Ministry by the Acting Director General of Protocol, Mr. Levit Mugejo.

The Zimbabwean representative welcomed the Cuban diplomat and highlighted the strong historical ties that unite the sister nations. The occasion was propitious to reiterate the will to continue strengthening bilateral relations.

The illegal sanctions imposed by Western countries on Zimbabwe and the US criminal blockade of the Caribbean island were also rejected.
