Namibia, September 25, 2018- The Cuban collaborators of the different brigades based in the Namibian capital, Windhoek, as well as the officials of the Embassy discussed the Constitution Project of the Republic of Cuba.

The meeting was chaired by Ambassador Giraldo Mazola and Aldo Fuentes, deputy head of the diplomatic mission.

At the meeting, attendees had the opportunity to express their opinions about the constitutive text. Numerous contributions were made, collected in around 60 interventions, which eliminated, modified, added or expressed doubts about the Project.

The comments made by the comrades showed the high level of preparation and the seriousness with which the process was assumed.

At the end of the meeting, the Cuban Ambassador highlighted the quality of the proposals, all made with the aim of improving the text of the Constitution Project and thus contribute to the development of the country. He also highlighted the democratic nature of the process and its inclusiveness.

So far three meetings have been held to analyze the constitutive document in Namibia, in the cities of Rundu, Oshakati and the recently completed in Windhoek. In the coming weeks the process will end with the meetings in the coastal city of Walbis Bay and in the southern Keetmanshoop.
