Caravan against the blockade on the 73rd anniversary of the Moncada feat

“May the example of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and the Moncada martyrs inspire us to continue building bridges of friendship between Cuba and Namibia,” stated Ambassador Sergio Vigoa de la Uz during the commemorative event marking the 73rd anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks.

"The tenacity of the Cuban people is being tested like never before. The strangle of the economic blockade on the Cuban economy and the living conditions of the Cuban people is causing a humanitarian catastrophe," stated Ambassador Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, Namibia's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, during the mid-year diplomatic briefing.

The meeting took place in Windhoek this Friday and brought together members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the African nation, whom the Minister briefed on Namibia's foreign policy priorities.

The government of the United States is carrying out against Cuba a multi-dimensional, non-conventional warfare that has already lasted for almost seven decades now and has become ever crueler and more ruthless during the last seven months.
