The Embassy of Cuba in the United Arab Emirates was the place this Saturday, April 12, for a meeting with the Cuban community resident in this nation of the Persian Gulf.
The occasion focused on informing the assistant representation about the calendar of international events that will take place in Cuba and that include participation, face -to -face and virtual forums, so that Cubans residing abroad contribute their experience, proposal and enrich the debate in pursuit of the development of their homeland.
The recent examples of International Agriculture and Transport and Logistics fairs were cited, and the coming Health and Tourism conventions, in which it is expected that professional Cubans, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs based abroad, can be linked to projects on the island and with the needs of the Cuban market.
The afternoon was also space for the first domino tournament to the Cuban, developed in a friendly environment, which contributed to promoting solidarity interrelation in the resident Cuban community, and paying tribute to the cultural wealth of the island.
