The Cuban Consul in Sweden met on the afternoon of Saturday, October 27, with the Cubans residing in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden's second most important city. Among the main topics discussed were the new immigration measures that began to be applied as of January of this year, as well as the participation of Cubans living abroad in the new Cuban Constitution Project.

The Cubans who attended showed their gratitude for the opportunity and information received in this meeting, as well as for the possibility they have of contributing their opinions to the Constitution Project. The Consul explained to all Cuban citizens present that the measures that the country has taken on immigration policy, both in the past and in the present, have been focused on the improvement of relations between Cuba and its emigration.
