As part of the World Day of Solidarity with Venezuela, held this Friday at the Consulate General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Istanbul, the Consul General of Cuba, Raúl Ernesto Madrigal Cárdenas, together with Consuls Lisvan Aleaga Tamayo and Amelia Sánchez Frade, expressed their firm support for the Venezuelan people and signed in a show of solidarity.
The event, held in parallel with the day of action in Ankara, brought together diplomatic representatives, social organizations, and members of the Latin American community in Türkiye, who expressed their rejection of the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States government and their commitment to the sovereignty and self-determination of Venezuela.
The active participation of the Cuban consular corps in Istanbul reaffirms the historic ties of brotherhood and cooperation between Cuba and Venezuela, as well as mutual support in the face of the common challenges facing both nations.
The Consulate General of Venezuela in Istanbul deeply appreciated the solidarity shown by the Consulate General of Cuba, highlighting its participation as a gesture of fraternal support that strengthens the unity of Latin America and the Caribbean in defense of peace, justice, and respect among peoples.
