Cuban culture present at the annual Show of the Antique Auto Club of The Bahamas

NASSAU, March 19th, 2018. - The community of Cuban residents in The Bahamas participated last Saturday, March 17, in the annual Show organized each year by the Antique Auto Club of The Bahamas with charity purposes.

This year the Cuban resident Silvia Irene Blanco surprised everyone attending the Antique Auto Club with an excellent performance that included dance, modeling, painting and percussion. To the rhythm of Orishas’: "Cuba beautiful island ", the fashion show was held with Cuban collaborators and Cuban residents, exhibiting colorful handmade costumes made by the artist and made with recyclable materials. At the rhythm of the drum beat, paintings with Cuban landscapes and the folk dance of the Caribbean island were exhibited.

Once again, Cuba's culture gains space in events of Bahamian society, as a symbol of the cultural ties between both peoples.
