Cuban delegation from MICONS makes official visit to Barbados

A Cuban delegation from the Ministry of Construction of Cuba (MICONS) paid an official visit to Barbados.  The delegation is headed by the Vice Minister, Amaury Medina Morante and is accompanied by Luis Aguilera Batista, Director of Technical Assistance of the Ministry and Yusimí Gómez Viñas, Director of Engineering and Business of UNECA.

They had exchanges with government authorities and the main construction companies in the country. This area is one of the opportunities identified by both countries to continue expanding collaboration ties.

At the same time, the members of the delegation, accompanied by the Ambassador, Yanet Stable Cárdenas and the Consul, Olga Dalmau González, held meetings with the collaborators of the three UNECA brigades, which are hired by the private companies PRECONCO and Co. Willians, respectively.  At present, the collaboration of the Cuban construction sector in Barbados amounts to more than twenty, with prospects to continue growing in the coming months.
