The Cuban delegation from the Ministry of Construction of Cuba concluded its working visit to Barbados.

The Cuban delegation made up of officials from UNECA and the Cuban Ministry of Construction concluded its working visit to Barbados on August 17. After having carried out a broad program of activities, which included meetings with Cuban workers hired in Barbados, as well as exchanges with executives of the construction companies PRECONCO and Co. Williams Construction Limited, with the latter the possibility of expanding the hiring of workers and engineers of the sector was discussed, for which a contract was signed with said company.
Some terms of the contract with PRECONCO were also reviewed and the members of the delegation held a meeting with the Director of EDGHILL CONSULTING INC, a company in the agricultural sector, with a view to signing an agreement in the near future to hire Cuban personnel working in this other sector.
The Chargé d'Affaires of the Cuban Embassy in Barbados and the First Secretary, Aramis Sánchez Mansolo accompanied the members of the delegation in the negotiations and meetings held as part of the program they successfully completed in this working visit to Barbados.
