Cuban Delegation of the Ministry of Construction makes a working visit to Barbados.

On August 9, a delegation of officials working in the construction sector in Cuba arrived in Barbados for a working visit with Cuban workers and engineers hired in Barbados, as well as to sign some collaboration agreements with several of the construction companies of this country, which are currently employers of our workers. 

The delegation is headed by Ricardo Carbajo Chelala, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Construction and also includes Juan Pablo Díaz Guzmán, Technical Director of the Empresa Nacional de Prefabricado y Premezclado and Yusimi Gómez Viñas, Director of Engineering and Business of the company UNECA S.A.

The Cuban delegation and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Cuban Embassy in Barbados, Olga Dalmau González, are carrying out an extensive work program to fulfill the objectives of this visit.

On August 10 and 11, they held exchanges with Cuban workers and on August 12 and 13, they had fruitful meetings with executives of the construction company PRECONCO LIMITED, with which they are carrying out collaborative actions based on contracts that UNECA has signed with this entity and with the company Co. Willians Limited with which they will sign a contract for the first time for the hiring of Cuban workers specialized in automotive mechanics.
