Convened by the Government Experience Exchange Office, the Latin America & the Caribbean Regional Leadership Program took place in Dubai from 14 to 18 July.
The Program brought together government representatives, public policy experts and entrepreneurs from several countries in the region, including Cuba, with the aim of strengthening institutional capacities and fostering strategic alliances between Latin America and the Caribbean and the United Arab Emirates.
As part of the activities, the Cuban delegation attended keynote lectures, participated in working sessions, and visited Emirati institutions where successful strategies in leadership, innovation in public management, digital transformation, sustainability and economic planning were presented.
The Cuban delegation highlighted the high level of organization of the event and the spirit of cooperation that characterised each session. It was also expressed Cuba’s interest in further deepening ties with the United Arab Emirates and other participating countries through the identification of best practices adaptable to the national context.
This participation reflects Cuba’s commitment to finding creative solutions to the challenges of development in an increasingly interconnected and dynamic international scenario.
