Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Ana Teresita González returned to the island after a tour that took her to several countries in Europe and Central Asia, where she spoke with local authorities and solidarity groups.
"I completed a tour of Europe and Central Asia. The commitment to deepen ties between Cuba and the countries visited is ratified, "the diplomat wrote in her account of the social network Twitter, during her return trip to the largest of the Antilles.
In mid-September, Gonzalez undertook the journey that included Belarus, Georgia, Poland, Turkey, Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, Iceland and Ireland.
The Vice Chancellor of the Island was received by ministers, deputy ministers and senior officials of those nations, meetings that she described as cordial, frank and respectful, in which she discussed the state of bilateral relations, as well as economic and social issues.
According to González, he also held fraternal meetings with friendship groups with the Caribbean country, which ratified the support for the Revolution, and with Cuban residents.
