Cuban Deputy Minister of Communications heads delegation to the United Nations

New York, 27 July 2022.  Since 22 July, Cuba has been participating in the third substantive session of the Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG) on security of and in the use of information and communications technologies 2021-2025.

The Cuban delegation participating in the event, led by the Deputy Minister of Communications Ernesto Rodríguez Hernández, will contribute to the discussions on the draft annual progress report of this Group.

Cuba, an advocate of the inclusive discussion format provided by the OEWG, has actively participated in its work since its establishment by UN General Assembly resolution 75/240.
