A delegation from the Ministry of Tourism of Cuba, headed by its Deputy Minister Adalberto Venero Lemus, took part in Investopia 2025, a global platform that seeks to connect investors, business leaders and governments to identify new investment opportunities, boost growth and foster future economies worldwide.
In a meeting with the Undersecretary of Economy, H. E. Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, they activated the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Economy of the UAE and the Ministry of Tourism of Cuba in 2023.
The event took place in Abu Dhabi on February 26-27, 2025, bringing together more than 100 speakers, including government leaders, ministers, investors and entrepreneurs from 20 countries.
During Investopia 2025, 15 roundtables were organized focusing on creating solutions to address financing gaps in the climate technology sector, innovative initiatives for the transition to circular economic models and the importance of investments in emerging markets with rapidly growing key sectors.
