The Cuban Deputy Prime Minister, Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, began an official visit to the Republic of Turkey on Thursday with the aim of deepening the historic ties between the two nations and peoples, reviewing the state of economic, trade, financial and cooperation relations and examining the potential for their development.
Today, the Cuban Deputy Prime Minister met with H.E. Mr. Nureddin Nebatí, Minister of Finance and Treasury, and Mr. Fathi Dönmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, as well as with H.E. Prof. Sahap Kavcioglu, Governor of the Central Bank, who were accompanied by senior executives of their respective institutions. He also held meetings with businessmen interested in the Cuban market.
Cabrisas was accompanied by the Minister of Energy and Mines, Liván Arronte Cruz; the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Déborah Rivas Saavedra, the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emilio Lozada García, and the Cuban Ambassador to Turkey, Dr. Alejandro F. Díaz Palacios.
