Cuban diplomats engage with Grenadian diaspora

Diplomáticos cubanos dialogan con diáspora granadina

The Ambassador of Cuba to Grenada, Yadirys Echenique Paz, and Consul Ariel Pazos Ortiz took part in a meeting of the Grenadian diaspora held in Saint George, an occasion that brought together local residents and Grenadians living abroad.

During the exchange, the diplomats explained the current reality in Cuba, marked by the increase of unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States government against the largest of the Antilles. They emphasized that these policies directly affect the daily life of the Cuban people and limit international cooperation projects.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to dialogue with Grenadians residing in the United States about the importance of solidarity and regional support. Like Grenada, Cuba has identified its community of nationals living abroad as a fundamental actor in the country’s development.
