The Ambassador of Cuba in Grenada, Yadirys Echenique Paz, led the participation of the Cuban mission at the opening ceremony of the book of condolences organized by the Embassy of Venezuela, following the earthquake that caused numerous casualties in that country. Her presence reaffirmed the bonds of solidarity and brotherhood between both nations.

Grenadian media have given wide coverage to the campaign “Grateful Grenada Gives Back to Cuba”, an initiative aimed at raising funds and mobilizing resources to support the Island amid the shortages caused by the economic blockade. In this regard, the newspaper The New Today dedicated prominent space to reporting on the solidarity activities.
Political leader Peter David condemns accusations against Raúl and expresses support for Cuba
Former Foreign Minister of Grenada, Peter David, appeared on Telesur to voice his support for Cuba and denounce the consequences of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States. In his message, he emphasized that regional solidarity is essential to confront the difficulties faced by the Island and condemned smear campaigns against its historic leaders.
Cuban engineers participate in construction project in Grenada
Cuban engineers are taking part in the construction of the new bridge in Balthazar, Saint Andrew, a project with significant political and social relevance, as it has been recently highlighted by Grenada’s Prime Minister, Dickon Mitchell, in the media.
The works include the demolition of an existing bridge and the installation of a new temporary structure to ensure access for the population during the construction process.
