Statement of the Commission on International Relations of the Cuba National Assembly of People’s Power

The deputies who are members of the Commission on International Relations of the National Assembly of People’s Power of the Republic of Cuba reject the new Executive Order of the President of the United States, which intensifies the economic war and seeks to further tighten the illegal and immoral collective punishment of the Cuban people.
Grenadian Trade Unions approve Resolution against U.S. Government hostility toward Cuba
During the International Workers’ Day celebration in Grenada, held on the island of Carriacou, a resolution condemning the latest escalation of hostility by the U.S. government against Cuba was overwhelmingly approved. The pronouncement was part of the solidarity actions with the Greater Antilles that accompanied the workers’ day.
Grenadian Trade Unions present recognition to Cuban Ambassador
As part of the celebration of International Workers’ Day, André Lewis, President of the Grenada Trade Union Council (GTUC), presented a recognition to the government and people of Cuba. The commemorative plaque was received by Cuba’s ambassador to Grenada, Yadirys Echenique Paz, during a ceremony that brought together Grenadian workers and representatives of the Cuban state mission.
Cuban delegation leads May Day Parade in Grenada
The Workers’ Day celebration in Grenada took place on the island of Carriacou with a parade that covered approximately three kilometers before reaching the stadium where the commemoration was held. Officials from the Cuban Embassy in Grenada, together with representatives of the Cuban state mission, led the march, which included workers and trade union leaders.
