On January 14, 2025, the government of the United States announced the following decisions:
1. Remove Cuba from the State Department list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism;
2. Make use of the presidential faculty to prevent US courts from taking action with regards to lawsuits that might be filed by virtue of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act; and
In the spirit of the Ordinary Jubilee of the Year 2025, the Cuban Government releases persons who are serving prison sentences.

As part of the close and fluid relations with the Vatican, the Government of Cuba has remained in touch with Pope Francis and his representatives and, as has occurred in the past, has kept His Holiness informed about the processes of review of the convictions and the release on imprisoned person, a practice that is common in our judicial system and has characterized the humanitarian record of the Revolution.
Prime Minister of Granada congratulates the Cuban Government and people on the 66th Anniversary of the Revolution.
St George January 7 - The Prime Minister of Grenada Honorable Dickon Mitchell sent a congratulatory message to President Miguel Díaz Canel on the occasion of the 66th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution. His words were in recognition of the firm position that the Cuban Government and people have maintained in the face of innumerable challenges and international solidarity with countries that need medical assistance.
Medical Brigade in Granada dedicates its Scientific Day to Fidel.
St George, November 25. The Cuban Embassy in Granada welcomed thirty Cuban doctors and technicians who held their Scientific Day. In her opening remarks, Dr. Mabel Leon, Head of the Medical Brigade, said that the date of the event coincided with the 8th anniversary of the physical disappearance of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, as a way of honoring his legacy.
