Grenadian Foreign Minister and Cuban Ambassador lead July 26 commemoration

With the presence of Grenada’s Foreign Minister, Honorable Joseph Andall, and Cuba’s Ambassador to that country, Yadirys Echenique Paz, the commemoration of July 26, Day of National Rebellion, was held in Saint George.

During the ceremony, Minister Andall recalled the historical significance of the date and emphasized that threats to peace in the region require unity and cooperation. He also reiterated Grenada’s support for the Cuban people in their struggle against the economic blockade imposed by the United States.
