The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) expresses its profound concern regarding the ongoing and intensifying economic, commercial, and financial measures imposed upon the Republic of Cuba. The COFCOR reminds that the mounting hardships facing the Cuban people also seriously impact CARICOM nationals studying and living in Cuba, whose well-being remains a priority for the Community.

Grenadian Minister highlights cooperation with Cuba
Grenada’s Minister for Economic Development, Planning, Agriculture and Lands, Forestry, Blue Economy, Marine Resources, and Cooperatives, Honorable Lennox Andrews, recently received Cuba’s Ambassador to that country, Yadirys Echenique Paz. During the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the areas under his leadership.

The Revolutionary Government condemns in the strongest terms the despicable accusation by the United States Department of Justice announced on May 20 and proclaimed for several weeks against Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, leader of the Cuban Revolution.
