Oslo, April 24, 2023. The ambassador of Cuba to Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, and the second secretary of the Embassy, Daffne Ernesto Mirabal García, paid a visit to the "Valle Hovin vgs" high school, fulfilling an invitation made by Iohanka Olivera Acosta, a Cuban who is a teacher of Spanish in that educational center.
The diplomats made a presentation about Cuba to students who are learning the Spanish language as part of their study plan. Geography, climate, political-administrative division, national symbols and attributes, education, health, culture and traditions were among the topics addressed. The students listened with great interest and asked several questions.
Demonstrating the knowledgeof the language that they have acquired, a representation of the students guided the Cuban visitors on an extensive tour of the school.
