Kingston, 26 November 2025. The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Cuba in Jamaica, Rolando Dávila Gallardo, and Third Secretary Anabel Landrón Ochoa participated this morning in activities organised by Mona High School as part of Modern Languages Week.
During the exchange with the school's students, the Cuban diplomats highlighted the ties that united Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz with Jamaica, as well as the continuing relevance of the Cuban Revolution's vision of solidarity and humanism. They also shared information about opportunities for higher education in Cuba.
This event was supported by members of the Cuban community linked to the education sector, led by Professor Ernesto Rodriguez.
