Accra, December 9, 2023. - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana developed a sporting event for the exchange of its officials with the Diplomatic Corps accredited in the Ghanaian capital. Under the name “A day with the diplomatic community”, sporting events were held where the Cuban delegation demonstrated their skills.
On the Ghanaian side, the event was chaired by the Chief Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ramses Cleland. For her part, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Ghana, Anette Chao García, gave a joint interview to national media where she explained the importance of events like this, highlighting the achievements of the island in the sports sector even though Cuba has been suffering, for more than 60 years, an economic, commercial and financial blockade by the United States of America.
