Kuala Lumpur, July 26, 2025. The Cuban Embassy in Malaysia, along with Cuban residents, celebrated National Rebellion Day on July 26.
Cubans Daniela and Camila painted their July 26th flags and filled us with joy.
The 26th has always been a reason for gathering and celebration for Cuban families, protagonists of our people's historic resistance.
Every July 26th, Cubans commemorate National Rebellion Day, an emblematic date that commemorates the assault on the Moncada Barracks in 1953, an act that marked a milestone in the fight for freedom and justice on the island.
"...Moncada taught us to turn setbacks into victories (...), it showed us the value of a doctrine, the strength of ideas, and left us with the lasting lesson of perseverance and tenacity in just goals."
The legacy of Fidel and the young people of the Centennial Generation are a source of inspiration to continue the work of the Revolution.
