Nigeria, December 21st, 2021. Counselor Pavel Bauzá Fusté, as Charge d'Affaires a.i. from Cuba in Nigeria, received a group of journalists from the Nigerian newspaper Premium Times, among them, Idris Akinbajo, Editor-in-Chief; Chaimaka Okafor and Kabir Yesuf Ado, journalists and George N. Kaduna, producer.
In a climate of cordiality and friendship, the Cuban diplomat had the opportunity to exchange and present relevant elements of the history of our country and of the social programs developed by the Cuban Revolution for the benefit of our people, on the example of solidarity synthesized in the latter times by the Henry Reeve Cuban Medical Brigade, on the battle against COVID19, the development of Cuban vaccines and the vaccination process, heroism of our scientists and health personnel, as well as denouncing the worsening of the economic, commercial and economic blockade by the US administration, which constitutes an act of genocide against the Cuban people.
During the meeting, the cultural and historical ties between Cuba and Nigeria were also highlighted, as well as Cuba's respect and admiration for the Nigerian people.
