Vientiane, September 27, 2025. From New York, at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla raised his voice in defense of Cuba and Our America. He denounced the US imperial aggression against the Latin American and Caribbean peoples and demanded an end to the criminal US blockade against our people.
At the 26th Meeting of the ALBA-TCP Political Council, he denounced the disproportionate deployment of US naval and air forces to the southern Caribbean, under the command of the Southern Command, falsely justified as the fight against drug trafficking and migratory flows, but concealing interventionist and intimidating intentions against legitimate governments in the region.
At the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Ibero-American Conference, he reaffirmed the Community's commitment to the fight against all forms and manifestations of terrorism and expressed Cuba's willingness to share with the Conference's member states its experience, albeit modest, in areas such as health, education, the biomedical and pharmaceutical industry, and environmental protection.
At the G20 Ministerial Meeting, he called for a new, more just, democratic, and supportive international economic model in the face of the unequal order that benefits only a few. He emphasized the urgent need to reform the international financial system to make it more democratic, transparent, and fair. He denounced the global imbalance that favors a few countries and condemned excessive military spending in the face of declining Official Development Assistance.
Also at the CELAC-China meeting, he recognized the progress made over a decade of cooperation with Beijing, expressed his gratitude for its firm support against the blockade, and advocated for expanding joint projects in infrastructure, technology, and trade, with real benefits for our peoples. Cuba, faithful to its principles, does not remain silent in the face of injustice and will continue to defend peace, cooperation, and the unity of Our America. https://cubaminrex.cu/es/canciller-cubano-interviene-en-multiples-espaci...
