Oslo, May 30, 2024. Bárbaro Maikel Mendoza Muñoz, a Cuban who has been living in Norway for several years, in a video message made known his position against the blockade and the inclusion of Cuba in the spurious list of States that allegedly sponsor terrorism.
“Why has the US included Cuba on a list of state sponsors of terrorism? Simply to justify the economic blockade that it has imposed on the Island for more than half a century. Cuba is not a sponsor of terrorism. Cuba has been a victim of terrorist acts organized and financed from the US. Cuba is a sponsor, yes, it is, but of solidarity, peace and brotherhood,” said Bárbaro Maikel.
“We demand that the US government remove Cuba from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism and lift the unjust and cruel economic blockade that it has imposed on Cuba,” he added firmly at the end of his message. (Embacuba Norway)
