Cuban medical brigade receives emotional farewell in Istanbul

The Cuban medical brigade belonging to the "Henry Reeve" International Contingent of Doctors Specialized in Situations of Disasters and Serious Epidemics that assisted the Turkish people after the earthquakes of last February 6 was bid farewell by the Istanbul airport authorities, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Agency for Disaster Relief and Assistance (AFAD). She was presented with a commemorative metal plaque of appreciation. The doctors were sent off with a round of applause by all the airport staff.
