Cuba's Minister of Education, Dr. Naima Ariatne Trujillo Barreto, will participate in the Education World Forum 2025, to be held in London from 18-21 May. The Minister will be accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Education (MINED), including Marian Chorens Cruz, Director of International Relations, and Mayda Ramos Alemán, National Methodologist for English Language Teaching.
The Education World Forum (EWF) is the world's largest annual gathering of ministers of education and training. This event provides a unique platform for the exchange of experiences and good practices, as well as exceptional learning opportunities. Bringing together education policy makers from all continents, the Forum facilitates the analysis of the most pressing challenges in education and the joint search for sustainable, inclusive and context-specific solutions.
Cuba's presence at this high-level event reflects the country's firm commitment to the principles of inclusive, equitable and quality education.
With this participation, Cuba not only reaffirms its educational leadership in Latin America and the Caribbean, but also actively contributes to the global debate on the future of education in a world in constant transformation.
During her stay in the UK, Minister Trujillo Barreto will also hold important meetings with representatives of the British Department of Education, members of Parliament, the National Education Union (NEU) and the Cuba Solidarity Campaign (CSC).
