Bindura, Zimbabwe, October 31, 2025 – Cuba's collaboration in the training of Zimbabwean professionals was recognized today during the 24th Graduation Ceremony of Bindura University of Education and Sciences (BUSE), in the presence of the President and Rector, the Honorable Dr. Emerson D. Mnangagwa.

Some two thousand students graduated from various faculties of the prestigious institution, whose origins lie in the educational assistance provided by the Caribbean nation since the late 1980s, following Zimbabwe's independence.

Cuba's Minister of Education, Dr. Naima Ariatne Trujillo Barreto, will participate in the Education World Forum 2025, to be held in London from 18-21 May. The Minister will be accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Education (MINED), including Marian Chorens Cruz, Director of International Relations, and Mayda Ramos Alemán, National Methodologist for English Language Teaching.

At the headquarters of the Ministry of Education in Monrovia, Dr. Jarso M. Jallah, the Minister, received the Cuban ambassador, Dr. Indira López Arguelles.

The minister thanked the scholarships that Havana offers for Liberian students and evaluated other opportunities to strengthen ties in this sphere.

The Ambassador updated the Island's progress recognized by UNESCO such as the Yes I Can method, among other multiple work potentials.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. October 29, 2020. Ms. Tsedevsuren Lkhagva, the new Minister of Education and Sciences of Mongolia received this morning the Ambassador of Cuba Raúl Delgado Concepción.  The status of bilateral work with that Mongolian institution was updated. The Minister, who has extensive work experience in the field of education, assumed this position after the appointment of the new government cabinet at the end of the Parliamentary elections last June.
