Wellington, September 10th, 2018. “El Techo”, by young Cuban director Patricia Ramos, was screened in Wellington as part of the 17th edition of the Latin America & Spain Film Festival (LASFF).
The Cuban film had an excellent reception, confirmed in a screening room filled by the local audience.
"El Techo" is the debut film of Patricia Ramos. Accurate to its name, it was filmed on a rooftop in a Havana neighbourhood, in which three friends are torn between the dreams and frustrations that are part of their everyday life.
LASFF opening was held on September 4th at the College of Creative Arts of Massey University in Wellington, which is only the beginning of a cultural tour that will last until the first days of December and will cover a total of 12 cities in New Zealand. The Cuban film will open the exhibition in the cities of Palmerston North and Taupo. (Embacuba NZ).
