Cuban nurses join Chain of Hope to save Jamaican children's lives.

Kingston, Jamaica, 22 January 2020. Two Cuban health professionals who serve at the Bustamante Children's Hospital in this capital, joined the Chain of Hope project now visiting Jamaica to perform cardiac catheterization procedure in Jamaican children hospitalized at this institution's Heart Center.

During a visit to the hospital, the Jamaican Minister of Health and Wellness, the Honourable Dr. Christopher Tufton, exchanged with members of the project and the Cuban perfusionists, who are also members of the Cuban Medical Brigade serving in this Caribbean sister nation. 

Founded in 1996, Chain of Hope is an international medical aid organization that bring treatment to children suffering from potentially fatal heart diseases in developing countries.
