Ankara, October 22, 2020. Yanisbell Sánchez Rodríguez, Deputy of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba and President of its Parliamentary Group of Friendship Cuba-Turkey, sent a letter of condolences to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for the passing away of the deputy Markar Esayan, President of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba of the referred Turkish institution. Cuban Ambassador Luis Amorós Núñez also extended a message of condolences to Mustafa Sentop, President of the parliament of the Eurasian state.
In his letter, the Cuban deputy extended his condolences to the members of the Parliamentary Group and to the family and friends of Mr. Esayan.
For his part, the Antillean diplomat highlighted the work carried out by the departed deputy to strengthen the solid relations of friendship between the parliaments of both countries and shared also his solidarity with relatives and colleagues of the parliamentarian, who was buried this afternoon in Istanbul.
