Cuban participation in a conference of the Bolivian President in Turkey.

Ankara, Turkey, April 9. As part of an official visit to Turkey, the president of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Evo Morales Ayma, gave a conference at the University of Ankara, which was attended by members of the Cuban Embassy, ​​along with representatives of the accredited diplomatic corps, Turkish academics, officials and journalists, among others. After his presentation, the Bolivian leader met with his counterpart, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

In his dissertation, the Andean statesman made a historical summary of the indigenous movement in Bolivia and his rise to political power. He explained the main political, economic and social actions of his government in favor of the people and its projections until 2030. He gave details of the efforts to regain control of the country's natural resources and the advantages of having eliminated the presence in its territory of institutions Americans and the International Monetary Fund.

The president was feted at the end by the rector of the University of Ankara, Erkan Ibis; and its Minister of Foreign Affairs, Diego Pary, received the solidarity greeting of the Cuban Embassy.
