The Cuban people proudly welcome their fallen heroes who died in the line of duty

Vientiane, January 15, 2026. The Embassy of Cuba joins the Cuban people in welcoming the fallen combatant heroes who died in the line of duty, following the treacherous US military aggression in Venezuela. The pain is not shared, but multiplied, just as the courage of the Cuban people and their children multiplies, whose bravery demonstrated how to defend the Homeland to the last drop of blood.

From José Martí International Airport to the Ministry of the Armed Forces, the people wept and gave them their final embrace, sealing the commitment to always defend with honor the sacred land that saw them born.
