Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel awards the "Friendship" Medal to the Cuba-Türkiye "José Martí" Friendship Association. It is awarded to Cuban or foreign citizens, organizations or institutions that individually or collectively stand out in their activity aimed at achieving the construction of a more just society and for strengthening the bonds of fraternal friendship, cooperation and mutual aid between peoples.   
In an emotional meeting with Turkish friends at the Nazim Hikmet Cultural Center, Cuban Ambassador Dr. Alejandro Díaz Palacios presented the medal to the President of the Nahide Özkan Solidarity Association.
