Cuban President sends congratulatory message for the 70th Anniversary of the independence of Sri Lanka

SRI LANKA, February 1, 2018. -  On the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Independence of Sri Lanka, to be held on February 4, 2018, the Cuban president, H.E. Raúl Castro Ruz, sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Maithripala Sirisena, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

In his message, the Cuban President said: "On the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the proclamation of the Independence of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, I extend to you our cordial best wishes. Please accept the assurances of my highest consideration."
