Cuban President sends message of condolence to his Egyptian counterpart on train collision

Cairo, August 12th, 2017 - The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, sent a message of condolences to his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El Sisi, following the train collision that took place in Alexandria, in which 42 people died and 133 were injured.

In the message the Cuban President expressed his condolences to Egyptian President and asked to extend them to the relatives of the victims.

According to official sources, prosecutors seized the black boxes from both trains involved in the accident in order to know the causes that led to this unfortunate event.
