Oslo, October 1st, 2024. Last week, Cuban professors who are on an academic exchange stay at the University of Stavanger, had several social and academic activities, which have contributed to their integration into the multicultural community present at the University, and to their training process in gender issues and social work.
Among those activities, the following stood out: the presentation entitled "What is considered and ethical problem in different countries?", as part of the course Ethical reflections in welfare practices, by Niuva Ávila Vargas, Amanda de las Mercedes Rodríguez Gómez and Luis Carlos Espinosa Núñez de Villavicencio, and also the presentation of progress in doctoral research by María Ofelia Rodríguez and Dianné Griñan, two professors from the University of Havana, who study the Cuban migration from different approaches.
