Cuban Residents in Barbados welcome Cuba's attendance to the VII Summit of the Americas.


The Association of Cuban Residents in Barbados adopted a statement of support for Cuba, celebrating his first participation in the VII Summit of the Americas on 10 and 11 April 2015 in Panama. It is recognized that with this invitation to a delegation from the Revolutionary Government of Cuba, headed by Army General Raul Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, is accomplished to be represented at the meeting all the countries of Latin America and Caribbean in terms of sovereign equality.

They acknowledge that this important event is the result of the political will of the vast majority of countries and governments of our area, which thus confirm that Cuba is reinstated in an equal footing and without conditions of any kind to the forum hemisphere nations, was violated law would unjustifiably and now rectified as a historic act of justice.

Cuban residents share this victory of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean, which has been expressed in various documents of regional and international, in particular in the framework of ALBA, CARICOM, UNASUR and CELAC forums, and is especially relevant now serves as decision support for the restoration of diplomatic relations between the governments of the United States and Cuba and the start of negotiations that must conclude with the full normalization of bilateral relations, the unconditional lifting of the blockade and all forms of hostility towards our country.
